APC NWC Rebukes Benue Chapter, Reverses Expulsion Of Gemade, 6 Others

The National Working Committee NWC of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Thursday rebuked the Benue State chapter of the party and reversed the suspension of Barnabas Gemade and six other members of the party in the state.

Also recalled to the party are Terhemba Shija and five others.

Recall the members of the party were expelled by the Benue State Executive Committee of the Party for “anti-party activities and losing their polling units” during the last general elections.

But reversing the decision on Thursday, the spokesman of the APC, Felix Morka, said the NWC directed that the decision be annulled until a proper review was done

He said that the NWC “has directed that the said suspension and all related actions in the matter be, and are hereby, set aside pending further review and decision of the Party’s National Working Committee (NWC) on the matter.

“Therefore, Senator Gemade, Professor Shija, and five others that are affected by the said suspension are, and remain, bonafide members of the Benue State Chapter of our Party”, he added.
