Bayelsa Governor-Elect Wins ‘Best Performing Governor’ Before Assuming Office
The yet to be installed governor-elect of Bayelsa State, David Lyon, has received an award for “the best governor of the year 2019”.
Lyon shared the news in a video circulating on social media, thanking God for the accomplishment.

“I am not even used to receiving awards,” Lyon said while his supporters celebrated his acclaimed feat with applauses.

Lyon was the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC)in the 2019 Bayelsa State governorship election.
He was declared as the winner of the Bayelsa State governorship election on November 18, 2019, and would be sworn-in as governor of the state on Friday, February 14.
