BREAKING: Aisha Alhassan Resigns As Buhari’s Minister
Ms Aisha Alhassan, popularly known as “Mama Taraba”, has resigned as the Minister of Women’s Affairs.

Alhassan resigned from President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet barely 24 hours after she was disqualified in the Taraba gubernatorial race by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

She was appointed Women’s Affairs Minister in 2015 several months after Buhari was sworn in as Nigeria’s president.
