BREAKING: Atiku Picks Peter Obi As Running Mate For 2019 [PHOTOS]

Former Vice President and 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, is said to have settled for former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, as his running mate in the 2019 election.

According to sources, Atiku will now run with Mr Obi as vice presidential candidate against President Muhammadu Buhari of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 presidential poll.

It was learnt that the choice of Mr Obi was reached at a meeting in Abuja which had the former Vice President, the former Anambra state governor and some stakeholders in attendance.

Recall that Mr Atiku had emerged the 2019 standard-bearer of the PDP after winning the presidential primary election of the opposition party that held about a week ago in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Just yesterday, the former Vice President secured the endorsement of his former boss, former President Olusegun Obansanjo, for the 2019 poll.
