BREAKING: Buhari Appoints Farouk Yahaya As New Chief Of Army Staff

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed a new Chief of Army Staff in the person of Major General Farouk Yahaya.

The Acting Director Defence Information, Onyema Nwachukwu, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.

Yahaya’s appointment followed the death of the former COAS, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru, in a plane crash last week.
