BREAKING: INEC Suspends Collation Of Kogi Election Results

The collation of Saturday’s governorship election results in Kogi State has been suspended. 

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the suspension on Sunday night in Lokoja, the state’s capital. 

The Returning Officer for the election and Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Professor Ibrahim Umar, who made the announcement, said the collation would resume by 9 a.m. on Monday.

Umar said the suspension was necessary as results from two local governments in the state were yet to arrive the collation centre in Lokoja.
