BREAKING: Oyo Council Chairman, Driver Kidnapped

The Chairman, Iganna Local Council Development Area of Oyo State, Mr Olayiwola Adeleke, has been kidnapped.

Our correspondent gathered that Adeleke was kidnapped together with his driver on Sunday night.

Sources said the council boss was traveling to Ibadan for a meeting with the governor when he was abducted.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the incident.

A source in Okeho told our correspondent that vigilante groups had swung into action in search of the abducted persons.
