Busola Dakolo: Nigerians React As Court Dismisses Rape Allegation Against Fatoyinbo

Mixed reactions have trailed court’s dismissal of Busola Dakolo’s rape allegation against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).

Busola’s case against Fatoyinbo was dismissed by a Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Bwari, Abuja, on Thursday.

The photographer was equally ordered to pay N1 million for wasting the court’s time.

While Busola and Fatoyinbo are yet to react to the ruling, some Nigerians have taken to Twitter to air different views on the outcome of the suit.

So Busola Dakolo's case has been thrown out by a judge saying it's a case of cruelty and sentiment against Biodun Fatoyinbo. She's also going to pay him a fine of 1M.

Update: Busola Dakolo V. Biodun Fatoyinbo. The clerk called the lawyers of Busola Dakolo late last night notifying them of the judge’s ruling on the preliminary objection today. As expected, a mockery of our processes and law was the case as the drama unfolds.

According to the court, Busola Dakolo wasted it’s time with her case and she should pay for the ‘’time wasting’’.
Don’t ask women to take up their rape cases legally or report to the police again. You can see how helpful that is.

The Nigerian Court has thrown out Busola Dakolo’s case and fining her for wasting their time.
I’ve been laughing since I heard the news.

The same court that has been VERY slow to persecute Senator Elisha Abbo with unnecessary adjournments and excuses.

I knew Busola Dakolo was going to lose the case because there wasn’t any evidence she was raped

But if Pastor Fatoyinbo truly raped her and the court didn’t favor Bisola because she had no evidence
