Chelsea Legend, Didier Drogba Donates Hospital For Covid 19 Treatment

Chelsea legend and former captain of The Elephants of Ivory Coast, Didier Drogba, has offered his private hospital to his country to be used as Coronavirus treatment center.

The hospital located at his home town of Abidjan was opened in 2016 by the Didier Drogba foundation.

The health facility located at Attecoube district is not yet in a perfect working condition but could serve in the wake of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Foundation director. Mariam Breka said : ” It’s up to the state to approve it and make it functional.”

A regional council head Vincent Oh Bi expressed his heart felt gratitude to Drogba , ” We thank Drogba for this gift considered as an act of patriotism.”

Since the outbreak of Coronavirus in the West African state, 574 people have contracted the virus and 5 fatalities have been recorded so far .
