Covid-19: Oyo Confirms 56 New Cases In 13 LGAs

Oyo State government has announced 56 new cases of covid-19, bringing the total to 661.

The governor, Seyi Makinde disclosed this on Thursday saying the confirmed cases were from 13 local government areas in the state.

According to him, the cases are from Saki W (14), Oluyole (9), Ibadan N (6), Akinyele (10), Ibadan SE (5), Ibadan SW (4), Ibadan NW (2), Atisbo (1), Saki E (1) Ido (1), Ona Ara (1), Ibarapa N (1), Egbeda (1) LGAs.

Oyo also recorded one new death, bringing total fatalities in the state to nine with 242 recoveries.
