Covid-19: UK Varsity Uploads 200 E-Books For Global Use By Pupils, Students

The Oxford University Press, United Kingdom, has uploaded over 200 electronic books for readership by interested pupils and students around the world.

The press which is owned by the University of Oxford disclosed this on its website, seen by THE WHISTLER.

It advised those interested to explore the opportunity, adding that it would end by September 30.

The Press noted that the gesture was geared towards supporting teaching and learning outcomes at home, in view of the covid-19 pandemic.

“To support teaching and learning at home, we are providing free access to 200+ digital versions of our Student Books for you to access whilst schools are affected by the coronavirus.

“Please note, the temporary free access to these resources will be ending on 30 September 2020. Please do continue to make use of them until then,” it stated.

Our correspondent observed that the books covered the primary, secondary, O-Level, A-Level categories among others.

It retariated that the books were meant for online reading only.

“The online books are copyright of OUP and downloading them is not permitted. They are only for online viewing,,” the statement partly read.
