Gunmen Kidnap Wife Of Ondo Governor’s Chief Of Staff — Police

The Ondo State police command has confirmed the abduction of the wife of Ondo State governor’s Chief of Staff, Olugbenga Ale.

The State Police Spokesperson, Tee- Leo Ikoro, confirmed the development to newsmen on Thursday.

The victim was reportedly abducted at Owena area, on Akure-Ondo Highway of the state, on her way from Lagos to Ondo, where she had gone to purchase goods for sale.

This incidence came barely 24 hours after the murder of a Yoruba monarch, the Olufon of Ifon, Adegoke Adebusi, in Ose Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.

The monarch was reportedly killed alongside two others by unknown gunmen.

Meanwhile, the police disclosed that they have launched manhunt for the abductors of Olugbenga’s wife.
