An Ondo state governorship aspirant of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Jamiu Afolabi Ekungba has described his people as “bastards and betrayal”, stating that he will never give them any sort of assistance.

The APC governorship aspirant who hails from Owo LGA of the state, said that he was highly disappointed in his people for not rendering him the support he needed during the primary elections even after he spent millions of naira to earn their mandate.

While storming out of the venue of the party’s primaries following the announcement of Rotimi Akeredolu as the flag bearer, Ekungba said, “I am highly disappointed in the people of Ondo, they are bastards and betrayals.

“They deceived me. I spent over N300million naira on reaching out to each of the delegates alone. Even before the primaries I have spent millions of naira. After collecting my money they gave me just 44votes.

“From today I will never help any Ondo State indigene, I’ll rather give out my money to the Hausa beggars on the street.”
