JUST IN: Again, UK PM Self-isolates After Contact With Covid-19 Case
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom has gone on self-isolation, but this time, it is because of a contact with a covid-19 positive case.
He made this known in a tweet on Monday.
“Hi folks, I’ve been instructed by our NHS Test & Trace scheme to self-isolate for two weeks, after being in contact with someone with Covid-19.
“I’m in good health and have no symptoms and will continue to lead on our response to the virus & our plans to #BuildBackBetter,” he tweeted.
Recall that Johnson had been quarantined at Downing Street, UK, after testing positive for coronavirus on May 27.
He was later admitted to a government hospital where he eventually recovered.
He is one of the high profile figures to contract the virus aside the United States President Donald Trump and Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro.
