JUST IN: Dora Akunyili’s Husband Reportedly Assassinated

Unconfirmed reports claim that Dr Chike Akunyili, husband of the late director general of NAFDAC, Prof Dora Akunyili, has been killed by yet-to-be-identitied gunmen.

Mr Cyril Akunyili, the younger brother to the deceased, stated this on Tuesday.

The details of the incident leading to the death of Dr Akunyili are still sketchy.

Nonetheless, Cyril Akunyili claimed he was killed by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Until his death, he was the medical director of St Leo Hospital, Trans-Ekulu, Enugu.
