NFF: ICPC Seals Residence Of Shehu Dikko Over Fresh Corruption Charges

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC on Friday sealed the Abuja residence of the 2nd Vice-President of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, Shehu Dikko.

According to the Cable, the sealing of the property follows an order of forfeiture by a Federal High Court on Friday.

The house, which was sealed this morning by ICPC over a fresh corruption investigation against the federation is at No 1 River Benue, Maitama, Abuja.

The commission said the action is to uncover huge financial malpractices in the football association, allegedly involving Dikko and other executives.

Spokesperson of the anti-graft agency, Rasheedat Okoduwa said Dikko’s property is been sealed following fresh corruption charges against him and some others in the federation.

“It is true that ICPC sealed Shehu Dikko’s Maitama residence this morning,” Okoduwa said.

“He is been investigated with others over a fresh corruption charges.

“It has nothing to do with the cases of SPIP or EFCC.”

According to reports, NFF has been on the watch list of many anti-corruption agencies in the country following series of alleged financial malpractices.

Among the agencies are the Economic Financial Corruption Commission, EFCC, Special Presidential Investigation Panel, SPIP and ICPC.

The football house is allegedly accused of diverting huge sum of money in dollars and naira for their personal use.
