Nigeria Has No Money For World Cup Qualifier – NFF Boss

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Amaju Pinnick has revealed that barely days to Sunday’s World Cup qualifier against Zambia they are yet to pay for a chartered flight and hotel in Ndola.
Pinnick made this sensational disclosure to the senate sports committee on Tuesday.

He said NFF sponsors have not been forthcoming and this has forced them to apply for a government intervention but they are yet to get a response.

“We have a sound technical crew and our players are doing well, but the missing link is a financial incapacitation,” Pinnick disclosed.

“We have made arrangements for a chartered flight with Arik and have reserved 60 rooms in a new hotel which is just 10 minutes from the stadium in Ndola, but we have not paid for them.”

It has already been understood that the NFF travel agency has negotiated a $300,000 chartered flight to Zambia.
