Following President Muhammadu Buhari’s declaration as winner of the February 23 presidential election, Nigerians have taken to social media to name ministers they want the President to fire when reconstituting his cabinet.

President Buhari Buhari emerged victorious over his main rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, in last Saturday’s presidential election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returned Buhari as president after polling 15.1 million votes to defeat Atiku who scored 11.2 million votes.

While congratulating the President for his victory at the poll, the citizens listed Education Minister, Adamu Adamu, Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung, and Communications Minister, Adebayo Shittu, amongst others, as some of his cabinet members that should be sacked.

While Atiku heads to court, I hope Buhari will replace Adamu Adamu (Education), Dalung (Youth Development) and Shittu (ICT) immediately. Nigeria and Nigerians does not deserve to be punished for another four years.

I concur. Dalung should even be probed. While Shittu deserves to be jailed.
Fashola, Amechi, Audu Ogbe should be retained with their current portfolios. All the others should be fired.
