For Oby, literature is life; it is existential reality. That is the reason her literary works reflect the daily challenges we face as human. But literature also gives glimpses of possibilities. It transports the imagination beyond immediate realities and often offers an escape into more comfortable worlds or solutions.

Just as the award winning author said in a recent interview, “ I wrote the book I want to read,” her readers would also find that she wrote for them.

Oby is also a philanthropist and supports children’s education and others through her charity Éclat Beginnings. She’s based in Halton, Canada.
