NSCDC: Idoko Aleyicheni Takes Over As FCT Command PRO

The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, Olusola Odumosu, has announced the appointment of CSC Idoko Samuel Aleyicheni as the new Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the command.

Aleyicheni officially assumed the role on Thursday, January 18, 2024, succeeding ASC1 Okomanyi Comfort who was redeployed from the Command.

The commandant emphasized the importance of maintaining strong ties with the media and the public, urging the newly appointed PRO to exhibit diligence in his duties.

Prior to this appointment, Idoko served as the Divisional Officer of Bwari Central Division in the FCT.

He served as the PRO of Benue State Command between 2006 and 2007. He also served as the PRO of Zone H Headquarters, Makurdi between 2007 and 2019.

Idoko hails from Benue State, and holds a degree in Mass Communication from Benue University, Makurdi.

Also, he is a chartered mediator and conciliator and has attended several courses and training programs.
