Pastor Wants Leaders To Be Honest And Humble
The Senior pastor of the Evangelical Church Of Winning All, ECWA, Rv.Dr Jonah Samson, has said that God will uplift leaders who show honesty and humility.
In a sermon entitled: God is looking for a man who will stand in the gap, Pastor Samson admonishes leaders to show humility and honesty in leadership if they want God to bless their efforts.
He said this at the just concluded Widows/Orphans week of the church on Sunday.

His words, “God is looking for a man that has these three major attributes, Good testimony, Honesty and Humility. Whatever you do make sure you have a positive impact on 1 or 2 persons, so that when you are no more,you will be remembered for your good works.
“Stand for the truth no matter the consequences, its is better to die believing in something than to die for nothing, your death will be worst than that of a chicken.
“No matter your status or office that you have acquired on earth, its the same death that consumes the poor that will also consume you. For Jesus to humble himself and wash the feet of his disciples, tell me who are you not to do same”.
Special Jamaican gospel singers, Dr Lester Lewis and his wife, Rose Lewis, the original writers of the popular song “Jesus Is A Winner Man” sung by Gospel artiste Ron Kenoly were also in attendance.

Lewis, who confessed to taking drugs before being born again, said, “when I was still in the world, I was a drug addict, I use to take cocaine, marijuana and the likes until Jesus saved me. Praise the Lord am save now.”
