PDP Senator Announces Defection To APC

A Senator of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Joshua Lidani, has announced his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday.

Lidani, representing Gombe South, becomes the latest Senator to dump the PDP for APC following Senator Osinachukwu Ideozu’s recent exit from the opposition party.

Announcing the Gombe Senator’s defection to the ruling party was the Senate Majority Leader, Ahmed Lawan.

“Let me inform this senate that very distinguished senator Joshua Lidani representing Gombe south is defecting from the PDP to the APC. Congratulations,” said Lawan.
