PHOTO: NNPC Restores Loading At Ibadan Depot 48hrs After Fire Incident
The Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mallam Mele Kyari, has disclosed that the corporation has restored products loading at the Ibadan Depot, 48 hours after the fire incident at the facility.
The GMD who said this via his official twitter page on Thursday, noted that “Swift restoration signifies the corporation’s commitment to excellence, demonstration of efficiency and a remarkable team effort.”

Recall that the fire incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday at the depot and the national oil firm in a statement by it spokesperson, Ndu Ughamadu, had assured that loading of petroleum products would resume in the depot in a few hours while noting that the incident would not disrupt steady petroleum products supply in Ibadan and its environs.
