The player is in perfect health and complying with the sanitary isolation protocol at home.”

The Spanish Champions have a Champions League second leg round of 16 tie with Manchester City on 7th of August at the Etihad stadium and Madrid will try to overturn the 2-1 aggregate lead City has.

Mariano has not played a big part in the Zinedine Zidane’s tutored squad as he scored once in seven appearances for the club this season.
