Fani-Kayode Shades Buhari Over Mockery of President’s Long Absence By CNN
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has launched a scathing attack on Nigerian leaders over a CNN Jest of President Muhammadu Buhari’s absence from the country.
It’s been 84 days since President Muhammadu Buhari travelled out of the country and reports of his absence have continued to dominate news headlines locally and around the world.
Buhari’s absence from the country was quizzed on the CNN on Sunday, on the Global Public Square (GPS) programme hosted by Fareed Zakaria.
The CNN anchor had asked his viewers to identify the country whose president has not been in office for over 2 months.
Nigeria was listed among as option C, while Saudi Arabia, Cuba and Syria were on the list.
Nigeria was obviously the answer, as leaders of the other nations listed in the options have not been absent from their countries.
In what could be described as an attack on the APC-led government, Fani kayode tweeted: “Watched @CNN last night. The shame that these beasts brought upon our nation will be multiplied in their lives a million fold. We warned!”
