Nigerian Singer, Simi Attacks Buhari’s Government

Nigerian music star, Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye, popularly known as Simi, has expressed grievances at the state of affairs in Nigeria under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Simi said ‘’I don’t talk about politics much, but it’s heartbreaking to see how broken many of us are. I used to fight people for talking down on Nigeria. But there’s hardly any basis for that fight anymore. We deserve better’’.

She also said that Nigerian citizens have become mentally exhausted and tired of being Nigerians.

Simi, who started her career as a gospel singer, released her debut studio album in 2008 titled Ogaju.

Her career came into the spotlight in 2014 after she released “Tiff”, a song which was nominated in two categories at the Headies 2015 and further brought her to mainstream recognition.

Simi is currently signed to X3M Music under which she released her second studio album.
