Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure’s future will be decided within the next 10 days, the Ivorian’s agent Dimitri Seluk has said.

The 33-year-old’s future has been a subject of interest in the last few months following City’s announcement that Pep Guardiola will take over the affairs of the team at the summer.

Toure has one year left on his contract with Seluk suggesting he will be leaving the Etihad Stadium in the summer.

“Everybody wants Toure, but first we must wait for permission from his club before discussing a possible transfer.” Seluk told fcinternews.it.

“We’ve got plenty of options and opportunities, but as I have said, it depends on City.

“Everybody wants Yaya. When I meet Italian fans, they all ask me to bring him to Serie A, and this is not just Inter fans but also Juventus fans.

“But it’s the same with Barcelona fans. We’ll see. There’s not much time to wait now. As I’ve said, we will have news within 10 days more or less.”

Inter Milan are favourites to land the midfielder, but Seluk insisted no deal is in place as they will need a go ahead from Manchester City.

“I know the coach Mancini is crazy about Yaya and would like him at Inter,” added Seluk. “That said, I can’t say too much about his future right now. It will take 10 days for significant news.

“Questions should be addressed to Manchester City, because he’s a starter and he still has a contract until 2017.

“As long as the club doesn’t give the OK we can’t talk to anyone. Every club wants Toure, but first we need permission from the club to discuss a possible transfer.

“Is Inter a possibility? Yes, but as I said, it depends on Manchester City. We have many options and opportunities, but if the club doesn’t allow it we can’t say or do anything.

“We’ll see. We’ll wait a bit. In 10 days we’ll have some news.”

Since his £24 million move from Barcelona in 2010, Toure has become one of the most sought after midfielder in the world, helping the Citizens to two Premier League titles in 2012 and 2014.
