Succesory, 172 Other Firms Get FG’s Approval To Enrol Nigerians Into NIMC Database

The Federal Government has given approval to Succesory Nig Ltd, Airtel Network Limited, and 171 other firms to enrol Nigerians into the National Identity Database on behalf of the National Identity Management Commission .

The government also gave approval to 30 State Governments/Public Sector Institutions to provide the same service to Nigerians.

In a circular obtained by THE WHISTLER on Friday, NIMC grouped the successful applicants that would provide the service under six different categories.

They are Category A  for Private Limited Liability Companies, with 87 firms; Category B for non-governmental  and civil Society Organisations (7 firms)and Category C for  Start up companies and small, medium enterprises (46 companies).

Others include; Small, Medium Enterprises (33 companies), Public Sector Institution state Governments (16  institutions) and Public Sector Organizations (14 companies).
 
Succesory Nig Ltd, which is among the Private Limited Liability Companies approved by the Ministry is a management, financial as well human resource consultanting firm dedicated to local and international training, capacity building, management services, microfinance, strategy and leadership services.
The company’s clients include First Bank Plc, DFID, Petroleum Technology Development Fund and UNDP, among others.  

Other Private Limited Liability Companies are Solcorn Technologies Ltd,  Globacom Limited, Airtel Network Limited, Aliph Technologies Ltd, among others.

The Public Sector Institution and state Governments given approval are; Abia State Government, Adamawa State Ministry of Special Duties, Delta State Ministry of Economic Planning, Gombe State Government, Lagos State Residents Registration Agency, among others.
Similarly, Public Sector Organisations approved include;Abuja Enterprise Agency, Central Bank of Nigeria (Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement SystemsPlc), Corporate Affairs Commission, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,independent National Electoral Commission, among others.

The circular read, “The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, IsaAli Ibrahim (Pantami), has approved the licensing of 173 Agents and 30State Governments/Public Sector Institutions to conduct enrolment of all persons including legal residents into the National Identity Database(NIDB) on behalf of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).

“Pursuant to the above, find the list of all the successful firms who satisfied all the evaluation criteria as stated in the Advert for the Expression of Interest of each of the respective categories in full.

“The Commission congratulates all those who have been cleared to conduct enrollment of all persons on behalf of NIMC for data capture services.”
