VIDEO: Nigerian Hollywood Actress, Yvonne Orji Shares Parents’ Reaction To Her Emmy Nomination

Nominations for the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on Tuesday.

The announcement was made virtually by Leslie Jones, star of the forthcoming show, “Supermarket Sweep” Laverne Cox, Josh Gad, and Tatiana Maslany on ABC.

Breaking the news to her parents, Nigerian Hollywood actress, Yvonne Orji, received heart-blowing reactions.

Orji had bagged the ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress’ in a Comedy Series in the Emmy award nomination list.

This year’s ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 20, on ABC with Jimmy Kimmel as the event host.

The ceremony will be reimagined as a socially-distanced event due to the production restrictions imposed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
