Why The World Must Be Joyful Despite Pandemic – Pastor Paul Enenche

The President of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), Paul Enenche, has admonished people across the globe to remain joyful despite the Coronavirus pandemic.

He spoke at the church’s Sunday Online Service tagged ‘Blessing Sunday’; with the themey: “Your Joy and the Enemy”.

He said that joy, according to the Bible, was medicinal and could boost a person’s health and vitality, irrespective of the circumstances of life.

“The loss of joy is a medical condition; when your joy is attacked, your strength is attacked,” he said.

Recall that the covid-19 pandemic has led to a lockdown of activities in countries, thereby resulting in economic hardship.

But the cleric said that ideas, creativity, direction and solutions to situations of life cannot be attained when people are depressed.

He stressed that it would take a joyful disposition for people to find the inspiration that would show them the way out of crisis situations.

“Joy guarantees inspiration; there are directions you will receive from God at the frequency of joy.

“The devil fights your joy to keep you in confusion,” he said.

Furthermore, he said that when God sees joy in the hearts of men, He answers their prayers.

“If the devil wants to keep you in frustration regarding answers to prayers, he will keep you in depression,” the cleric said.

But he said that joy was a deliberate choice of men and not a gift, adding that people should choose joy daily.

He also said that one of the reasons many are depressed and felt guilty was because they knew they were not living uprightly.

He also said that setting and meeting worthy goals was one of the triggers of joy.

He then urged the online audience not to entertain any self doubt, adding that the covid-19 plague would pass away like other worst plagues of the past.

“Whatever you are confronting today has once been confronted and conquered.

“There is nothing new under the sun,” he said.
