“The expectations are to make a good match, we discovered here the conditions of the stadium, the grass, also the hot weather.”

” The traveling was okay, a little bit long but I think we can recover until tomorrow afternoon and then our objective all the time is to win the game.”
“ We wanted to do the four points in the two matches to be qualified, its still possible and I believe in my team and I think we can do that , it will be difficult like I told you already before the match on the last day we saw it in the second half that they have a good team, but we can play very well, we sure did in the first 30 minutes, we want to play like in our football, playing forward, scoring goals, but defending better than we did the last day.”

“Of course, we have confidence, I believe that the players will fight for all Nigerian supporters and they will give the best.”
“I think we are ready for this match , we miss Osimhen of course, perhaps another change in the team, but the players who have the honors to represent the country tomorrow will give their best, they will fight until the end of the match.”

On his part, defender Troost Ekong reiterated the team’s readiness and motivation to take on their west African counterpart.

“Yea, we’re ready, I think we just finished a good practice session, and everyone is ready for the game tomorrow.”
“Now we prepare like any game we have done with this team, we don’t underestimate anyone and I think if we can just bring what we did in the last game in the first half and make sure we keep concentrated and see out the game, I think we will have a very good chance to do what we need to do.”
