After ‘Harassment’ On Saraki, IGP Meets Buhari In Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari held a closed door meeting with Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Tuesday.

Although, the agenda of the meeting was unknown at press time, the meeting held few hours after security operatives invaded the residences of the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki; and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu.

It also came a day after the police invited Saraki for questioning over the recent Offa robbery incident.

The police had also issued a statement threatening that if the Senate President refuses to honor the invitation, it “would not hesitate to use all the instruments of the law to ensure compliance with the law.”

Idris did not speak with State House correspondents after the meeting.
