Akeredolu Votes, Says ‘God Will Give Me Victory’

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Rotimi Akeredolu, has cast his vote in the ongoing Ondo State governorship election.

He arrived at Polling Unit 6 Ward 5 on Isokun, Ijebu Owo area of Owo town at around 9:39am alongside his wife, Betty and his security details.

The governor was ushered to the crowded polling units where he was accredited and cast his vote.

There was a drama when journalists started pushing and shoving themselves when he wanted to address them.

He got angry and was about jumping inside his SUV but his aides appealed to him.

While addressing journliast later , he said he was confident of victory

Akeredolu said, “I am confident about winning this election. I have always said that mine is about God. I know that God in his infinite mercy will give me victory.”
