BREAKING: After Gov Umahi, PDP Loses Senator To APC

Barely one week after losing one of its governors to the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lost a sitting Senator the ruling party.

Senator Elisha Abbo, representing Adamawa North Senatorial District in Adamawa State, has reportedly dumped the PDP for the APC on Wednesday.

Abbo’s defection came about a week after Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, announced his defection from the PDP.

The senator was said to have hinged the decison on his alleged rift with Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, and the alleged “mismanagement” of the PDP in his home state.
