BREAKING: Atiku Out As PDP ‘Zones’ Presidency To South…North Gets National Chairman Slot

There are indications that the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) may have zoned its 2023 presidential ticket to the Southern region. 

The PDP leadership has reportedly reached a resolution to zone the party’s national chairmanship position to the North. 

The national spokesperson of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, did not pick his phone when THE WHISTLER called to confirm the development. 

But a former Director of New Media of the party, Deji Adeyanju, confirmed the news in a tweet on Thursday. 

Meanwhile, the development may rule out the possibility of PDP’s former presidential aspirant and ex-Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, running for president under the party in 2023.
