BREAKING: Buhari, Obasanjo Meet Face To Face In Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently chairing the Council of State meeting at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja, with former presidents and former Heads of States in attendance.

Among those present at the Council of State meeting are former president Olusegun Obasanjo, former military Heads of State, Abdulsalam Abubakar and state Ernerst Shonekan; and former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Also in attendance are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki and other members of the council, which consist of past and present top government officials.

The meeting makes it the first time President Buhari and Obasanjo will be meeting after the latter’s attack on the President in his ‘state of the nation’ address on Sunday.

Obasanjo had called on Nigerians to vote against President Buhari in 2019 as he was allegedly exhibiting the dictatorial qualities of late former military ruler, General Sani Abacha.
