Breaking: Finally, Onnoghen Arrives CCT For Trial

The suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen has arrived at the Code of Conduct Tribunal for his trial.

Recall that the federal government had applied for a bench warrant against the suspended CJN after he failed to appear before the CCT for three consecutive times to answer to the allegations of non-disclosure of his assets levelled against him by the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).

The CCT chairman, Danladi Umar, on Wednesday, February 13, consequently directed the Inspector General of Police and the Director General of the Department of State Service (DSS) to arrest and produce Onnoghen for trial on Friday.
