Breaking: Melaye To Remain In Police Custody As Kogi Court Denies Him Bail

The senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye has been denied bail by a Magistrate Court in Kogi State where he is being arraigned for illegal possession of firearms and conspiracy.

The senator, who had arrived the court on Thursday morning on a stretcher, was conveyed into the city in an ambulance by the police authorities.

He was arraigned on Wednesday, in a magistrate court in Abuja, for alleged suicide attempt and escape from police custody.
