BREAKING: Russia Registers First Coronavirus Vaccine

Russia has officially registered the world’s first Covid- 19 vaccine developed by the Moscow-based Gamaleya Institute.

The country’s President, Vladimir Putin, disclosed this on Tuesday on Russian state TV.

Putin said at a virtual conference that the vaccine had passed through all the necessary checks.

According to Putin, one of his daughters had taken the vaccine.

The Russian president noted that after she took the vaccine, she had a slightly higher temperature, adding that she is now fine.

There have been speculations that the Russian vaccine did not follow due protocols in its development.

The country said it would conduct Phase III trials after the state registration of the vaccine for the pandemic, according to CNN.
