Breaking: We Will Probe Ban On Twitter – Gbajabiamila

The House of Representatives Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, has said that the House will investigate the circumstances surrounding the banning of the microblogging platform, Twitter, in Nigeria by the Federal government.

Gbajabiamila, who mandated the House committees on Justice, Human Rights and Information, to look into the immediate and remote causes of the ban stated this while addressing his colleagues following a successful two weeks working recess to hold the special summit on national security, as well as the zonal public hearings on the review of the 1999 constitution
