Buhari, French President Macron Hold Press Conference In Abuja

President Muhammadu Buhari held a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday.

The press conference took place at the State House Abuja on Tuesday evening.

Both leaders discussed issues bordering on security and terrorism.

The two Presidents are scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting and also oversee the signing of a number of agreements.

President Macron is on a two-day working visit to Nigeria.

The French President is expected to depart Abuja for Lagos on Wednesday, where he will attend an event at Afrika Shrine tagged ‘A Celebration of African Culture’.

Afrika Shrine is a nightclub in Lagos founded by Nigerian music legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

Macron will also be attending the opening of the French Cultural Centre and the African Business Forum.
