Buhari Receives Liberian President, George Weah In Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met with the recently inaugurated President of Liberia, George Weah, at the presidential villa, Abuja.

Daily Sun reports that President Weah arrived at 12:34 pm in three motorcades. He was received by President Buhari at the four court of the presidential villa by 12:36 pm.

The two West-African leaders met behind closed doors.

This visit to Nigeria makes it the first for Mr Weah since he was elected president.

The former international football star was sworn in as president on January 22 after defeating immediate past vice president Joseph Boakai.
