Civil War: Britain Defeated Biafra- Nnamdi Kanu Claims

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said that Britain incited the killings and starvation of millions in the defunct Biafra during the civil war.

This is coming amid debates over the state of the nation 50 years after the civil war between the secessionist Biafra and Nigeria.

Kanu who made the claim on his twitter account @MaziNnamdiKanu said : “50 years ago Britain masterminded the killing & starvation of millions of Biafrans to death; we were forced to abandon the war.

“But did the war end?.” He asked.

The IPOB was in 2017 termed as a terrorist group and was proscribed by the federal government of Nigeria.
