Coronavirus: Ogun Quarantines 28 Contacts
The Ogun State Government on Friday quarantined 28 people believed to have come in contact with the Italian who tested positive for Coronavirus.
This was disclosed by the state governor, Dapo Abiodun, while giving updates on the confirmed virus case.
Recall that on arrival from Italy, the victim was said to have visited Ogun State.
Abiodun also said the firm the victim visited in Ewekoro had been shut down as the state intensified surveillance to identify more contacts to curb the spread of the disease .
“The particular company in question has been practically shut down and we have set up two isolation centres on the premises,” he said.
Reports have it that the victim fell ill at the Lafarge cement company,Ewekoro, Ogun State, which he visited for a business engagement after arriving from Italy.
