COVID-19: Lagos Has 70 Out Of 86 New Cases

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has said eighty six additional people in Nigeria have tested positive for  coronavirus.

The NCDC  disclosed this while giving daily updates on the number of cases on Twitter on Sunday.

The new cases have brought the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 627.

The new cases, according to the centre, are recorded as follows;70 in Lagos,7 in FCT, 3 in Katsina, 3 in Akwa Ibom, 1 in Jigawa, 1 in Bauchi and 1 in Borno.

The number of deaths however increased to 21 With 170 patients discharged.

Eighty-six new cases of #COVID19 have been reported;

As at 11:50 pm 19th April there are 627 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
