COVID-19: Nigeria’s Recoveries Hit Over 100,000 As 22 Die Of Virus

Nigeria has recorded 100,365 recoveries in over 11 months, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said.

The new record emerged after 2006 persons got discharged in Lagos, Rivers and Plateau States respectively on Wednesday.

The daily tally by the NCDC also showed that 1,861 new cases were discovered in 22 states plus the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), taking the total confirmed cases to 126,160.

The agency disclosed that 22 persons died of the virus on Wednesday and a total of 1,544 so far.
