COVID-19: Oyo Leads As Nigeria Records 643 New Cases

Oyo State recorded 88 cases of COVID-19 on Monday, becoming the state with the highest cases for the first time.

It was followed by Lagos with 86; Rivers with 55 while Edo and Akwa Ibom followed with 54 and 53 respectively.

The new cases take the total infections to 140,391.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), six died on Monday and a total of 1,673 so far.

The agency also noted that 1,110 persons got discharged on Monday and 114,635 in over 11 months.
