COVID-19: Woman Dies After Giving Birth To Twins In Imo

In a classic case of joy and sadness, a COVID-19 patient in Imo State delivered a set of twins before giving up the ghost.

The deceased was said to have been receiving treatment in the isolation centre after testing positive for the coronavirus disease a few days ago.

According to channels Television, the sad news was announced by the chairman of the State COVID-19 Taskforce, Professor Maurice Iwu.

Iwu, however disclosed that the babies tested negative for the virus.

He also revealed that the state had experienced increase in cases due to improved sample testing.
