D’Banj Dedicates New Single To Wife After Son’s Death

Nigeria Singer Daniel Oyebanjo, known as D’Banj or Kokomaster has released a new single, two months after his son’s death.

He dedicated the song to his wife Lineo Didi Kilgrow.

This comes shortly after he disclosed on Instagram that his family have been going through difficult times as a result of the death of his son.

D’banj, who revealed the released of the single on his Instagram page on Wednesday, reassured his wife of his undying love and support even through difficult times.

He wrote: “Together We Will Pass Every Test That We Pass Through. This Is For You My LetterToMyWife Everything MamaDaniel 8/8/18.”

The full song is expected to drop today (Wednesday).

Though in mourning, the award-winning singer has decided to find consolation in what he is passionate about, his wife and his music.

The couple lost their only child, Daniel III, to a tragic swimming pool accident at their Lagos residence while D’banj was in Los Angeles, U.S., for the BET Awards.
