Don Jazy, Phyno, Others Hail Olamide’s New Album

Nigerian hip-hop star, Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, professionally known as Olamide, has released his highly anticipated album ‘Uy Scuti.’

Olamide who is one of Africa’s biggest rap star, returns today with the long anticipated album ‘UY Scuti.’

This album, which was released on Friday morning, follows the success recorded by ‘Carpe Diem’, his last studio project.

Celebrities like Don Jazzy, Phyno, Dbanj, Timi Dakolo, Adekunle Gold, Peruzzi, among others have taken to their individual Twitter page to post a positive review of the album.

Popular music producer, Don Jazzy, wrote, “The bro @Olamide just blessed us with an amazing body of work. #UYSCUTI.”

Timi Dakolo, however, described the album as an amazing job.

“Please, if you see this tweet, just give @Olamide his flowers. #UYSCUTI is an amazing body of work,” he said.

For Phyno, he described the album as ‘Classic,’ while Dbanj in a tweet commended Olanide for the album.

For popular comedian, Mr Macaroni, described Olamide as a king in the industry.

“Olamide is king forever abeg!! Truly, Truly, Baddo Na Baba! #UYSCUTI,” (sic)

Olamide had while speaking on the album said in a series of tweets that it has not been easy to keep the project to himself for one month before releasing it.

“I chose UY Scuti for the title because this project is way bigger than anything I’ve ever done before. From the creativity, the amount of work that went into the project, the process, it’s just a new Olamide inside me.”
